I’ve never considered myself a Franklin County newborn photographer, but I think I can add it to my resume after photographing this newborn session!
After my newborn clients book with me, I send them a guide in the mail. Based on the street address Mayci gave me in her contract, I couldn’t figure out what town she was in! I ended up emailing her to ask, and she let me know they’re located in a town called Castalia.
She wasn’t at all surprised that I couldn’t find it through a quick Google search, as it’s a small town northeast of Raleigh. It was about an hour drive to get to them, but I didn’t mind. Sometimes it’s nice to ride along in the silence in the car without any kids!
Holden, Mayci, and baby Charlotte are living in a rental home just yards away from where they’ll eventually build their forever home. The owner of the home took out a wall that once separated the master bedroom from what is now Charlotte’s nursery.
They’ve utilized the space so beautifully and have created the perfect nursery space for Charlotte inside of the large room.
So if you were wondering, this entire newborn session took place inside of one room! We ventured back and forth between the different sections of it, but it gave us plenty of space (and light!) to work with.
Holden and Mayci, thank you so much for choosing me to document both your newborn and maternity photos! It’s such a special season in your lives, and I feel honored to have played a small part in it.
