Newborn Photographer in North Raleigh

As a North Raleigh newborn photographer, many of my clients come to me as referrals. As was the case with this amazing family!

When newborn clients come to me as referrals, there’s an immediate sense of trust that I appreciate so much. They believe that I’ll make magic from whatever situation is thrown at me, and that gives me the creative freedom that I need to do so.

A newborn and a toddler

This family welcomed their son less than two years after welcoming their daughter into their lives. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – two under two is not for the faint of heart!

Blake and Maggie handled it so beautifully though, and I love the bit of spunk and energy that their daughter added to these photos.

Newborn sessions with only baby are undoubtedly easier, but newborn sessions with older siblings are undoubtedly more fun and offer more personality. The unpredictability of toddlers is always sure to spice things up, and I’m always ready to embrace it!

Fun facts

One of my favorite things about meeting new clients is learning about them. While photographing their newborn session at their home, I learned that Blake and Maggie’s oldest was born at the same hospital in Chicago as my oldest! Small world, isn’t it?!

Another fun fact? Maggie has started a women’s golf clothing line called Harlow! As a golfer (and an avid golf mom these days), I’m so excited to see what becomes of this! The golf women of the world could use some better apparel options, couldn’t we?
