Maternity Photos in North Raleigh
My feelings towards thes Raleigh maternity photos? OBSESSED to put it lightly.
Chris and Victoria actually live in San Francisco. As we all know, though, most of us are working from home these days. So they decided to spend a couple of months in Raleigh with family before the arrival of their baby in a couple of months!
You may remember a similar situation from this outdoor newborn session with Erin and Will who live in New York City. Well as it turns out, Chris and Will went to college together! Which is, of course, how Victoria stumbled upon yours truly.
Needless to say, I’m so happy she did! We squeezed this maternity session in just a few days before these parents-to-be packed up and headed back to the west coast.
Investing your heart in your photo session
I could tell from the very first inquiry I received from Victoria that she was so excited for these photos. And honestly? That’s always the best! I absolutely love working with clients who are as invested in their photography experience as I am. And the results speak for themselves.
Instead of the standard maternity session I usually do, Chris and Victoria opted for a longer session with an outfit change. I love how it turned out.
The added time gave us a better opportunity to explore the area, and the variation in dresses for Victoria definitely added some character to their session.
And to top everything off, Mother Nature gifted us with the most gorgeous night. After weeks of stifling heat and unbearable humidity, the heat gave us a break and the humidity settled down a bit.
Obviously, all of these things combined added up to one beautiful maternity session that I am simply thrilled I was able to capture.
