An in-home newborn session with good light

If you didn’t already know, the one thing a home must have plenty of for an in-home newborn session is LIGHT. And Mark and Kelsey’s downtown Raleigh home definitely delivered!

Not only was the light good, but so was the company. While we chatted, we discovered that we had both lived in Boston and Chicago before landing in Raleigh. What are the odds?! Kelsey is from Raleigh, and Mark hails from California, so our backgrounds before those places certainly differ. But it always baffles me when I end up working with people who have lived in some of the same places I have.

I actually first met this sweet family during my mini sessions at Historic Oak View in the Fall of 2020. While mini sessions are usually full of past clients, I love it when a brand new mini session client turns into a full session client.
