Babies change so much in their first year of life, so capturing every milestone is a must! Six month photos are popular for this very reason.
It’s astounding to see how much a newborn baby grows and changes over the course of half of a year! They go from absolutely helpless to mobile, getting into all of the things and smiling while they do it in the blink of an eye.
Horseshoe Nature Farm Preserve Photos
The Scheafer family moved to Raleigh from Charlotte only a month ago. Needless to say I was impressed that Hali made it a priority to schedule a six month photo session for her son in the midst of the craziness that is moving cities.
She happened upon the Horseshoe Nature Farm Preserve in North Raleigh, and it had the exact feel she was looking for for her family’s photo session.
It offers up wide open spaces, tall grass and a beautiful tree line that the sun sets behind.
A gorgeous evening
We also scored a gorgeous evening for their session, which we were all happy about. The days before had started off with sunshine and ended with rain. It was a relief to see that this day was the exception to that rule!
Mother Nature gifted us a hot, but perfect evening filled with sunshine and a beautiful sky for Jack’s 6 month photos. But I’ll let these images below do the talking!
