These Raleigh lifestyle newborn photos steal my heart. Why? Because I’ve had the privilege of documenting so much of this family’s life over the past two years!
I first photographed big brother’s newborn photos when he was just a week old. From then to six month photos to one year photos to pregnancy announcement and maternity photos to these newborn photos, I’ve watched this family grow from behind me lens.
And I have loved every minute of it.
What makes a photo session good
What is it that makes me love their photo sessions every time? It’s a couple of things. First of all, they value photography, and it shows. They prioritize documenting the special milestones in their family, and they show up ready to give it their all for each session.
Not only that, but they fully trust me to do what they’ve hired me to do. They trust my vision for their session, and they trust that I have the ability to capture all of the moments that will tell their story for generations to come.
That trust, while often overlooked, can be a “make it or break it” element of a photo session.
When I know that my clients trust me, I feel more free to be creative and conduct the session in the way I know it will go best based on my experience and expertise.
All of this makes for better photos!
