These Raleigh family photos with Grandpa are sure to pull at your heartstrings. Katherine was born in July (you may remember her newborn session!), but she didn’t have the chance to meet her grandpa until November. So naturally it was the perfect time to get together again for family photos!
This session was actually the third session in a six month period that I had with this family. The first was Erich and Tiffany’s maternity photos at the NCMA, and the second was their newborn session once Katherine was born. I know that life doesn’t always call for three photo sessions in six months, but when you’re in the season of life that includes pregnancy, having babies and watching them grow, sometimes it does!
And let me tell you this – one of the greatest compliments you can receive as a photographer is repeat clients. It means the world to me that this family has trusted me with such momentous occasions in their life.
This session also happened to fall in a window where I began adding in video to family sessions. I absolutely love knowing that Katherine will have not only photo documentation with her grandpa, but also a sweet video that she’ll be able to cherish the rest of her life! I love photos more than nearly anyone, but there’s also something about video that still photos can’t quite capture. Watch the family video below to see what I mean!
