North Hills In-Home Family Session

When I photographed this North Hills in-home family session last spring, this sweet family was taking a reprieve from New York City during the pandemic. And ironically I’ve come across several families who did the same thing. Fast forward almost a year later, though, and they’re residents of Raleigh! How awesome is that?!

When they were looking at their stay in Raleigh as temporary, though, they stayed in this AirBnB. So while this is an in-home session, it was actually only their home for a few months.

Their precious daughter was only a few months old for this photo session. They decided to forego newborn photos because of Covid, so this was the perfect alternative.

It’s crazy how much more alert babies become in the first few months! During a standard newborn session that takes place in the first few months of life, baby usually sleeps the entire time.

But Emily was bright eyed, awake and interactive for this family session!
