Newborn photography in Wake Forest is a quick jaunt from North Raleigh for me, making it a fast favorite. Not to mention I get to work with sweet families like this one in Wake Forest, making it even better!

This was yet another home flooded with gorgeous light, and it totally made my day. The fact that it was perfectly sunny outside didn’t hurt either.

A Newborn Session without a Nursery

When it comes to in-home newborn photography in Wake Forest or elsewhere, many people think you have to have a nursery. This couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Take this session for example. We literally did not step foot in the nursery or even go upstairs in their home.

Many times, even when a home has a nursery, I won’t use it for their newborn session. The reason being that the light in the room is the determining factor as to whether or not we’ll use it.

If the light isn’t great in the room, then I always highly suggest using a different room or rooms in the house.

So if your baby doesn’t have a nursery, it’s ok! We can absolutely still do a newborn session in your home, and with this session as evidence, it can still be really beautiful.
