If you follow me anywhere, then you probably know by now that we’re moving to Raleigh, NC. And soon, I might add! Leaving Evansville is definitely bittersweet, but I feel so confident that this is the right thing for us at this point. So overall, I’m excited to see what our future in Raleigh holds for us!
Some of you may be wondering how this affects Morgan Williams Photography. Well, let me tell you. Justin is already in North Carolina, and the boys and I will follow next week. I’ll be flying back for two weddings I have at the end of December in Evansville, and then hopefully we’ll start to feel a little more settled.
While I’d happily accept any Raleigh newborn session that comes along in December, I’m looking to January to really start establishing my business. And per the usual, Imma be real with you…the thought of moving my entire photography business to North Carolina is a little bit overwhelming. I know one person in Raleigh. One. That’s a WHOLE LOT different than the situation I was facing when we moved to Evansville.
That being said, I’m so excited to be working in a larger market again. I’m giddy just thinking about all of the new brides, couples and newborns that I’ll soon be able to serve in the Raleigh area. I know that there are challenges that lie ahead, but I feel ready to take them on.

I’m accepting weddings on a case by case basis. I have a few weddings that were already booked that I’ll be coming back to Evansville for. If the timing is right, and I feel like we’re a great fit, then we’ll make it happen! Basically, I don’t want to constantly be traveling back and forth. So if I already have too many travel obligations booked around the time of your wedding, then I’ll probably refer you on to a local photographer. If, on the other hand, it aligns well with my schedule, then we can chat more about it!
I’m not currently accepting any newborn sessions in Indiana. Since babies are unpredictable, I would have to book a super last minute flight and those are usually pricey. And I’m going to go ahead and assume you don’t want to tack that on to the cost of a newborn session. BUT if you do, we can chat! 🙂
I’ll still primarily be focusing on engagements, weddings, maternity and newborns.
I’ll officially be there on December 3, so any time after that is fair game!
I update my pricing fairly regularly, so you may see a change, but it’s not necessarily because of the move!
Ummmm have you SEEN the Carolinas??? YES, absolutely I will!
All in all, I’m the same photographer documenting the same beautiful moments for joyful couples in love and precious newborn babies and their families. Being able to grow my business in Evansville has been such a blessing, but I’ll share more about that later. For now, I’m looking forward to what the future holds for MWP in Raleigh and the incredible clients that I’ll have the privilege of serving!
