One thing I was a little disappointed about when we started planning our move to Raleigh was knowing that I wouldn’t be able to photograph Marcus and Grace’s baby’s newborn session and Fresh 48 session in January. I could tell from the moment she reached out to me that she was going to be a great client and a good fit for my style of newborn photography. Luckily, though, we were still able to squeeze in their maternity session at the Christmas tree farm just before I left town!
Grace had been put on bedrest shortly before our session, but she managed to escape her doctor’s orders and make it happen anyway! She and Marcus brought along their sweet fur baby, Pip for a few photos as well, and he was the perfect addition in his little red sweater.
The parents-to-be don’t know whether they’re having a boy or girl, which if you didn’t know, I LOVE. My husband and I have kept the gender a surprise with both of our boys, and it. is. the. best. It makes it all that much more exciting, in my opinion. So now I’ll be stalking them on social media so that I can find out whether that little bun in the oven is going to wear bows or bowties!
Marcus and Grace, thank you so much for trusting me to capture this precious and fleeting season of your lives! I wish you all the best with your sweet little one!
