One of my sweet brides who is getting married on New Year’s Eve of this year gifted this newborn session to her sister! I love it when things like that happen. I already have a point of connection with the family, AND I get to see them again! Pretty amazing, right?
Baby Rhett was born right on his due date, which if you didn’t know, is highly unlikely. Kinze, his big sister, wasn’t born until a week after her due date, so Mom wasn’t exactly expecting him to arrive any earlier. She woke up that morning to go to work and quickly made other plans when she started feeling contractions!
Rhett was born later that day, and their lives changed for the better. Obviously Mom and Dad were thrilled, and Kinze is taking to her big sister role just beautifully. She loves her little brother and likes to read him books. And even though he’s not quite comprehending them yet, it’s still a loving an adorable gesture! 🙂
Casey and Dana, thank you for inviting me into your home to capture this fleeting time in your lives! I’m looking forward to seeing you again in December!
