Colorful In-Home Newborn Photos
These colorful in-home newborn photos were so much fun! I love that this family opted for something other than all neutrals. I get it, y’all. Neutrals are safe. They always photograph well. You can’t go wrong with them. But I personally love when my clients start feeling a little more bold and express their personalities through their wardrobe choices.
Kelly sent me photos of the wardrobe pieces she was thinking of for her daughter’s newborn session, and I was all in. If you look closely, you can see that Dad’s outfit is the one that really adds the vibrant pops of color. Everyone else’s outfits are more subdued. But one pop like that is all you need to give your photos a totally different feel!
Three kids under the age of two
Not only was I impressed with their wardrobe choices, but I’m perhaps more impressed by the fact that they have three kids under the age of two.
Their twin boys are 20 months old. Being a twin mom myself, I’m probably even more impressed by this than someone who’s never had twins. Y’ALL. Twins are A LOT in and of themselves. And they have toddler twins and a newborn!
These two handle it so incredibly well though. Kelly approaches life in general with such positivity and grace, and this situation is no exception. She embraces it fully and trusts that God has put her exactly where she’s supposed to be. It’s truly inspiring to witness!
