Chris and Nicole didn’t know the sex of their baby during their pregnancy, and neither of them had any strong feelings about whether their little one was a girl or boy until Nicole was in labor. And for one reason or another, they thought they were having a boy at this point.
So you can imagine their surprise when they learned that their bundle of joy was a GIRL! What a wonderful surprise, though! That’s what I love about not finding out during your pregnancy. It is SO good either way.
Indianapolis Lifestyle Newborn Photo Session
I traveled to Westfield, Indiana (just north of Indianapolis) for their newborn session, and it was more than worth the drive. Not only did I get to meet my friends’ sweet baby girl, but I was able to see just how amazing of parents they are to Baby Avery already. You can see it in the way they look at her, the way the cuddle up next to her so naturally and the way they tend to her needs like they’ve been doing it their whole lives.
Babies change your life in such a huge and unexpected ways, but the way we transform as people the second that baby enters our lives is astounding. Suddenly, this child is the only thing that matters. And it’s clear that Chris and Nicole are learning that and loving their daughter as deeply and fiercely as I expected them to.
