Apex, NC In-Home Newborn Session

This Apex in-home newborn session stole my heart immediately because Mila’s big brothers are extremely close in age to my boys. So naturally I could relate to so much of what was happening – except for the newborn baby bit. 😉

Mila’s brothers obviously love her so so much and were incredibly affectionate with her. Luca was especially smitten as you’ll see in the photos below. Seeing big brothers love on their little sister will never ever get old to me. Seeing how they can transform from energetic little beings to gentle, caring big brothers melts me every single time.

A full head of hair for baby

The other thing you’ll notice in the photos is Mila’s very full head of hair! Oh my goodness, y’all! Girlfriend hit the jackpot in the hair department. As a bald newborn myself, I’m always in awe when a baby enters the world with more hair than I had at the age of two.

Luckily, mine did grow eventually, but I’m guessing my mom wouldn’t have hated a little more to work with when it came to bows and such. This is an issue Mila’s mom, Daria, will never have to worry about it seems!

All in all I had so much fun working with this family of five. Everything went as smoothly as possible and there was no lack of love and affection between all of them. Thank you to the Puentes family for inviting me into your home! It was an honor to document this season of life for you!
