Reading Time: 3 minutes

The number one reason people don’t book me as their newborn photographer? Price. Cost. Budget. Whatever you want to call it, but it boils down to one word: MONEY.

Bringing a Baby into the World in not Cheap

And hey, sister. I get it. Bringing a child into the world is not cheap. Besides any medical fees that your insurance doesn’t cover there are also all of the things that that tiny little human needs to live with you.

There are the big ticket items like the crib, rocking chair, changing table, bassinet, stroller and car seat.

Then there are the small items like diapers, bottles, onesies, swaddles, pacifiers and baby soap. And they may be small, but they also add up.

So when it comes time to cut back on something, I actually do understand why you choose to eliminate photography. Or maybe you don’t eliminate it entirely, but you find a more budget-friendly option.

Not Booking a Newborn Photographer is a Mistake

How do I know? Because I did this too when my first was born. And you know what else? It’s one of my biggest regrets to this day.

I absolutely hate that I left capturing newborn photos of Beckett to myself – and I’m a photographer. So no offense, but imagine how much you’re going to hate that decision when you leave that task to your limited photography skills and your iPhone.

I don’t want you to have to live with the same regret that I do. I don’t want money to be the reason you don’t book your newborn photography session with me.

If you value beautiful photography and luxurious photography products to remember this fleeting season of life, then I think you deserve to have them even when your bank account may tell you otherwise.

So, I’m giving you the option to add a newborn photography session with me to your registry! Because as important as that changing table is, you’ll treasure newborn photos of your sweet baby for far longer.

How to Add a Newborn Photo Session to your Baby Registry

Here’s how it works:

  1. You’ll go {here} to view the eGift Cards.
  2. If you have an online registry such as Babylist or MyRegistry.com (which I highly recommend!!), copy and paste the gift card site link to your registry.
  3. Voila! Now all of your family and friends know that a newborn photo session is something you’re really hoping to get, and they can contribute as they see fit!

Pretty easy, right?

If you’ve chosen to go the more traditional route with your baby registry and are registered only at specific stores like Pottery Barn or Target, fear not. We can still make this work!

My recommendation is to either include the gift card link on your baby shower invitations or drop an additional piece of paper in with the invitations with the necessary information on it. And yes, I’m more than happy to help you with this!

You Deserve Beautiful Newborn Photos

So whether you simply want a specific collection paid for or you just want any monetary contribution towards your session, you can make it happen!

Believe me when I say you deserve to have these newborn photos. And not only that, but your baby deserves to have them too. To be able to look back and see how deeply they were loved from day one is such a gift.

You may not know it yet, but this season will fly by faster than you know. Give your family the gift of capturing it while you’re able to.
