Newborn Lifestyle Session with the Norton Family

Becoming a parent can be terrifying. Yes, it’s exciting. But it’s also scary. Babies don’t come with instruction manuals, and you really have no idea what to expect. So it’s always so amazing to see how parents take to their new bundle of joy. Christian and Rachel had been parents for only eight days when we did newborn photos for baby Zoe. You would have thought they had known their sweet little daughter forever, though – not just a little over a week. They were so comfortable with her and seriously had everything under control. Their apartment was even clean, you guys! That’s a serious accomplishment.

One of my favorite parts of their session was when Zoe got a little fussy. Christian went over to calm her, and Rachel shared with me that since the day Zoe was born, her dad’s voice calmed and soothed her. Isn’t that awesome?! I just love it 🙂
