I first met Chris and Nicole when Justin and I started dating. They were dating at the time as well, and I’ve since seen them go from dating to engaged to married to now expecting their first baby!
Capturing this season of life is always special, no matter who’s in front of my lens. But it’s even more special when I have this kind of connection to the soon-to-be parents!
Chris and Nicole drove down to Evansville from Indianapolis for their maternity session. So Justin and I took advantage of them being in town and grabbed dinner with them before their session. Catching up with them and hearing all about this new adventure they’re about to embark upon was so much fun!
They’ve decided to keep the gender a surprise until the baby is born. If you know me, you know I’m partial to this because I’ve now done it twice. Not knowing if you’re having a boy or a girl makes everything that much more exciting leading up to your due date. Believe me. The anticipation is already high, especially with your first. But this brings it to a new level, and it is so. much. fun.
These two seem so ready to start their parenthood journey, and I can hardly wait for their little nugget to arrive so that I can capture his or her newborn photos! Chris and Nicole, thank you for choosing me and trusting me to document this fleeting season of life for you! I’m so excited to meet your little one next month!!
