Hi I’m Morgan! I’m a photography educator and Raleigh, NC newborn photographer and family photographer.

Meet Morgan

Nick and Taylor’s wedding day was filled with the most gorgeous flowers, some beautiful photo settings, a stunning bride and groom, a fair amount of heat and humidity, but most importantly a whole lot of love!

Preparing for the Day

Taylor and her girls prepared for the day at the New Leaf Salon in Lawrenceville, IL which was conveniently located next door to their reception venue! The ladies sipped on mimosas while having their hair and makeup done before Taylor slipped into a window filled room next door to finally put on her beautiful bridal gown from House of White.

The First Look

The bride and groom actually chose to cross the state line and travel into Indiana for their first look! The George Rogers Clark National Historical Park in Vincennes made for an incredible setting for the moment. It boasts a beautiful and prestigious monument that makes you feel more like you’re in Washington D.C. than Indiana! Taylor walked up behind Nick, tapped him on the shoulder, and when he turned around he had the biggest grin on his face! The joy just couldn’t be hidden.

The Ceremony

The two made it official and said “I do” in a ceremony at St. Lawrence Catholic Church surrounded by all of their friends and family. After pouring their unity sand, both Taylor and Nick gave a rose to their respective new mother-in-laws, which was such a beautiful and personal touch that I loved. They exited the church under a sea of confetti that their guests threw over them and made their way to their reception

The Reception

Guests gathered to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. and The Barn at New Leaf in Lawrenceville, IL. It’s a gorgeous barn-like venue with beautiful window light and a perfectly rustic touch. A couple of fun touches at their reception included a s’mores bar with unique combinations outside of your standard Hershey’s bar (YES, PLEASE) and a photo booth with Disney-themed props.

Best wishes to you, Mr. and Mrs. Courtney! May your future be filled with all of the love and happiness!
