Adam and Casey’s wedding day in Owensboro, Kentucky was one of the hottest days ever, but that didn’t keep them from having an incredible time!
Casey and her bridesmaids got ready for the day at the First Christian Church in Owensboro. The girls enjoyed mimosas as their hair stylist and makeup artist beautified them for the day.
Casey stepped into her dress with assistance from her matron of honor and her mom as her bridesmaids sat and watched in anticipation. One of my favorite details was one of the rings she wore. It was the first ring that her dad gave here mom when they were dating. Meaningful details like this make my heart melt!
After Casey was ready, she headed down to the sanctuary for her first look with her dad. He was just as awestruck with her as you would expect him to be! He lovingly embraced her and kissed her on the cheek before sending her off for her first look with Adam.
Casey walked up behind Adam under the awning outside of the church. He turned around to take in her beauty and the two embraced in a sweet and heartfelt moment!
The bridal party then headed out to the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden for bridal party photos. It was a scorcher of a day, but the setting was so beautiful that it was hard to care. We took advantage of the willow tree and the gazebo for photos before getting back to the AC and heading back to the church for the ceremony!
Guests entered the sanctuary through a greenery and flower filled archway, which was perfect for setting the tone for the wedding. Casey was all smiles as she walked down the aisle with her dad, and Adam was just as happy to see her. After the couple said their vows, they did a unity cross in lieu of a unity candle. They shared a kiss to seal the deal and joyfully exited the church as husband and wife!
RiverPark Center is a gorgeous wedding reception venue located on the river in Downtown Owensboro. Adam and Casey set their head table against a wall full of windows which offered a view of the river and the blue bridge that connects Kentucky to Indiana. It was a beautiful setting!
After three loving (and humorous) toasts and the formal dances, Adam and Casey escaped outside for a few sunset photos. They spent the rest of the night celebrating with their guests. Congrats, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace, and thank you SO much for including me in your special day!!
