I first met Kendall when she was a bridesmaid in her friend Lindsey’s wedding last Fall. I don’t remember every single bridesmaid I work with, but I remembered Kendall. Her warm and friendly personality and upbeat attitude are hard to forget!
So needless to say I was pretty excited when she reached out to me earlier this year showing interest in having me photograph her wedding! I met with Kendall and her mom over coffee at Honeymoon and was delighted to find that her mom is just as wonderful as she is. We chatted about wedding plans and got to know one another, and soon after that I had the pleasure of adding Kendall and Jordan’s wedding to my calendar!
The happily engaged couple lives in Atlanta, so we found a date on the calendar and made plans for both an indoor and outdoor engagement session in case it rained. The weather turned out to be beautiful, but we still started their session off indoors at Kendall’s parents’ house. The two snuggled up in their pajamas (at 5 pm, mind you) and enjoyed sipping from their Cubs mugs.
We carried that Cubs theme over into the next part of their session in Downtown Evansville at Comfort. They’re fans of the team, if you couldn’t already tell, and wearing their jerseys was the one thing Kendall was certain of when we first started discussing plans for their session. They shared a drink on Comfort’s beautiful patio overlooking Main Street before we frolicked along the streets of downtown.
Kendall and Jordan, it was so much fun spending time with you, and I can’t wait for your big day in December!
These are FABULOUS! Of course since Kendall is my niece, I know she is extremely photogenic. She’s also as beautiful inside as out. Jordan is an amazing addition to our family. I amTHE proudest auntie ever. This occasion is going to be a major blessing to our holiday season.
