I had been looking forward to Callie and Jordan’s Farmer and Frenchman wedding basically since the day I met Callie. I could tell from the moment I met her that she had impeccable taste, and as you’ll see in these photos, I was right.
Not only were her and Jordan’s engagement photos in Downtown Evansville an absolute dream, their wedding day was too.
The entire bridal party got ready for the day at Farmer and Frenchman, with Callie and her bridesmaids in one room and Jordan and his groomsmen in another. Something Blue Stylists joined the ladies to beautify them in the hair and makeup department, and they all looked stunning!
After Callie had put on her gorgeous wedding gown from House of White she was ready to head out to see her groom for the first time on their wedding day. The anticipation mounted as she walked up behind him. She grabbed his arm, he spun around to see her and immediately embraced her.
The joy and excitement these two shared as they stood and took each other in was so beautiful. It was obvious that they were thrilled to be marrying each other, and that’s a wonderful thing to witness.
Not only was their wedding held in a beautiful church, but it also held a special place in Callie’s heart and family history. Her sister and her parents were both married in the same exact church. How perfect is that?!
As Callie made her way down the aisle with her dad, Jordan’s eyes filled with tears and rolled down his cheeks. He couldn’t contain his emotions any longer as he brought his hands to meet his eyes and wipe those joy-filled tears away.
The happy pair said their vows in short and sweet ceremony, and joyfully made their way down the aisle as husband and wife!
They headed straight to the party bus to celebrate with their bridal party and make their way back to Farmer and Frenchman for the reception. But not before stopping a few blocks away at their house for a quick photo op with their labradoodle, Bulleit! It was so sweet that they wanted him to be a part of their wedding day!
After the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Cessna took a moment alone to capture some golden hour photos, they headed inside for the celebration to begin. The venue was decorated in the most beautiful and simple way. An elegant theme of white, black and gold complemented the venue perfectly with its gorgeous chandeliers overhead.
After Callie and Jordan shared their first dance, and the father/daughter and mother/son dances had been danced, their was still one more special dance to be shared. The newlyweds, along with their parents, all hopped on the dance floor to share one dance together.
Seeing the newly married couple and their parents all share this moment was so special, symbolic and unique. I love that they’ll all have that memory to look back on!
Callie and Jordan continued to dance the night away with their family and friends to end their absolutely perfect day. Congrats to you, Mr. and Mrs. Cessna! You have a wonderful and loving future up ahead of you!
