Isaac and Sarah are high school sweethearts, and let me tell you something. They adore one another. It was obvious in every part of their day. From Isaac’s reaction during their first look to the exchanging of their tear-filled vows, every moment bubbled over with love and adoration.
Their first look location was one of my favorites I’ve ever photographed. They first saw each other in Sarah’s grandparents’ front yard underneath the willow tree. Not only was it beautiful, but it was in a place that I’m sure has held a lifetime of memories for Sarah. The sentiment behind that makes my heart swell.
Sarah walked out to Isaac, and when he turned around to see her he was completely overwhelmed by her beauty. He put his hand over his mouth as he admired everything about her. And honestly? That awe didn’t escape him the entire day. As we were walking away from their first look location, Sarah walked in front of him and he turned around to myself and the videographer and said, “Wow!”. So sweet, you guys. SO SWEET.
The pair made it official at the First Baptist Church in Morganfield, Kentucky. Sarah walked down the aisle with her dad by her side and a full church surrounding her. Isaac stood at the end of the aisle and took in her presence once again. As she waited for her dad to give her away, she and her groom exchanged the sweetest of glances. It was clear that they were ecstatic to be making this promise.
As they exchanged vows, Sarah choked back the most elegant of tears. I always think it’s so special when it’s obvious that a couple truly understands the gravity of the words they’re exchanging with each other, and it’s safe to say that these two did. After saying their vows and exchanging rings, they took communion together before wrapping up the ceremony with a kiss.
After the ceremony, the celebration continued at Camp Breckinridge Museum and Arts Center. Sarah’s dad gave a heartfelt toast and prayed before guests enjoyed a meal catered by Acropolis. After the formal dances, Sarah tossed her bouquet and the party got started! It was clear that everyone was ecstatic to be there celebrating with them as the dance floor filled up.
To end the evening, Sarah and Isaac exited their venue through a tunnel of bubbles and hopped into an old car for their escape to Charleston, SC. Their day was incredible, and this was an incredible way to end it!
