It's time to kick boring family poses to the curb
You're so over your family photos looking just like everyone else's, and the only way you can get "natural" interaction is by using the age old tickling prompt. It's time to level up and create striking family photos.
Is it time to mix things up?
Picture this (pun not intended ;)): You walk into a family session 100% confident in what's about to happen, the images you're going to create and you knock it out of the park every. single. time. Clients are lining up to work with you, because you create unique family photos with so much heart and feeling that they can't get from anyone else. And you? Your work makes your soul sing. You feel beyond fulfilled every time you shoot, because you're finally creating those images you've been dreaming of.
I once dreamed of this, but it took me a long time to piece it all together to make it happen. The gap between knowing where you want to be and being there can be frustrating, unless you have a roadmap to guide the way.
It's it time you finally shake things up and create images you love.
Struggling to piece everything together to create family images you love...sound familiar?

"This guide is SO much more than I was expecting! Definitely not your typical posing or prep guide. Morgan thought of everything and put it all in this amazing workbook. The ways she has thought to create connection and interest in a photo session are so awesome! I've been a photographer for over 5 years and there was a lot of valuable information in this guide that I've never thought of before. I can't wait to use these ideas in my next session!"

"This guide gives you a step by step process, not just a list of poses, but all components it takes to create images that are full of life, laughter and family."
"After receiving Morgan's guide I knew it would be a game changer for my family sessions! She walks you through EVERYTHING you need to know to create authentic and genuine imagery that represents family, not just awkward smiles at each other. This guide gives you a step by step process, not just a list of poses, but all components it takes to create images that are full of life, laughter and family."
One day I came across family images that spoke to my soul, and I suddenly realized what family photography could be. They were images that felt like family to me. And it was then that I knew that I wanted to create family images that were different - images that spoke to the heart of what family is; images where my presence wasn't felt. And now? I get to teach you to do the same!
I was so uninspired by family photography.
I avoided photographing families for a long time - partially because the images I saw that represented family photography weren't inspiring to me. Whether they were meant to look candid or not, I could always sense the photographer's presence there.
Once I figured out the kind of family photos I wanted to create - comfortable, raw, fun images - I became so inspired. Through time, trial and error, I've created a system to create these images at every session. And now, I leave every session feeling so alive and on fire for what I do.
but nowI know how to help!
Connection Creation is a 42 page guide that breaks down my exact system for creating your own unique family images. From prepping your client to prepping yourself with the perfect poses for each family to encouraging interaction while you're shooting, it's all packed into the pages. All you have to do is dive in and apply it.
While I do share plenty of my own images and sketches I've used to prep for sessions, this isn't a guide of cookie cutter poses. Instead, Connection Creation teaches you the steps to create your own unique poses based on what it is you want to communicate through your images, the specific family you're working with and where you're shooting. It's the exact formula I use for every session, and it will transform your images!
Instead of prompts, I share my top four ways to encourage natural interaction during a session. The truth is I'm not a big prompt person. Many times I feel that you can sense the photographer's presence in a photo when a prompt is used. I mean, we've all seen Mom, Dad and sister tickling brother in a photo and known exactly how that happened, right? So while I occasionally use a prompt here or there, I have other ways to get everyone looking fun, joyful and interactive in a more natural way.
Not at all! While in-home family sessions are totally my jam, I still photograph families in outdoor settings as well. The principles found inside this guide can be used in a variety of settings. I absolutely use this system when shooting outside, and you can too!
