This kid is my favorite. I mean, he’s mine, so that probably slightly sways my opinion. Nevertheless, though, I love him to pieces.
He’s used to having a camera in his face at this point, so this was really just another day for him. And it really was a 24 hour period of photos. I guess that’s what happens when your mom is a photographer. Poor kid!
He loves running right now, so there was a lot of running towards me, his arms nestled in close to his body, swinging back and forth. It’s the cutest thing. He really thinks it helps with his running speed, and it’s adorable.
He’s also really into grabbing my hand (or the hand of whomever he is with), and pulling me along to his destination. Usually that’s to play cars in the playroom or to watch The Secret Life of Pets or to go outside and play “ball ball”.
I was so happy to be able to capture him doing this while I was taking photos. I never want to forget how it feels to have those tiny fingers wrapped so tightly around mine, pulling me ever so intently to play with him or sit with him or just be with him.
I want that feeling etched in my memory forever, because I know those days are numbered. I know that he’ll always need me, but I also know that he won’t always express it in the way that he does now.
But at least I’ll always have these images to hold onto and to treasure and to remember Beckett just as he is right now – full of energy, giggles and love.
Such a gorgeous set of photos! Life in the day of a photographer’s son looks pretty awesome! 🙂
These are so beautiful! I love the one of him about to taste that leaf!
He’s so adorable!!! My favorite is the photo behind your house with the gorgeous light coming in the frame!! <3
